Scrabble Party Christmas 2011

On December 13^th 2011 members of the Scrabble group held their traditional Christmas party. 

Numbers have increased significantly in this group and so 22 people attended the party.  

Members were served drinks and nibbles on arrival.  After the first game we stopped for mince

pies and shortbread.  Another game was played and the scores from the 2 games added together.

  The winners were:  1^st prize – new member Joan, 2^nd prize Gwenn (I won’t say old member!) 

and the booby prize went to Linda.  A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with friendly people – we

look forward to the New Year and another year of Scrabbling!
