    Tai Chi Group

    We have recently commenced a new session of Tai Chi and have been pleased to welcome several new members to 

    our group which meets weekly on Monday afternoon (2pm to 3pm) in the Scout Hall, Marple.

    Tai Chi is a gently exercise which aims to improve balance, co-ordination and flexibility.  To quote a leading researcher

    from Sydney University - ‘It has recently been proved that Tai Chi is as effective in reducing muscle and joint pain as 

    other forms of exercise such as swimming and walking’.

    Our exercise programme is purely voluntary and anyone who does not wish to try any specific exercise is welcome to

    sit out and  watch the others perform.
